The application of Yisheng hundred high speed steel ASP23, combined with excellent wear resistance and toughness, ensures the service life of the mold, and has high compressive strength. In addition, ASP23 powder metallurgy high speed steel has excellent hardenability, dimensional stability of heat treatment and good tempering softening resistance, and ASP23 is especially suitable for surface treatment.

Application: ASP23 high speed steel is very suitable for high wear resistance of forming die, such as carbon steel, hardened/cold rolled steel strip, including glass fiber plastic punching die.

3. Specification for heat treatment of Yisheng BaiASP23 powder high speed steel
·
1) Soft annealing: heating to 850-900℃ under protection, cooling to 700℃ at 10℃/h in the furnace, air cooling.
·
2) Stress relief: stress relief should be carried out after rough machining, heating to 600-700℃, 2 hours of uniformly cooked, slow cooling to 500℃ in the furnace, air cooling.
·
3) Quenching: 500℃, 900℃ two-stage preheating. The austenitizing temperature ranges from 1050℃ to 1180℃, and must be carried out in the protected state. ASP23 quenching notes: continuous cooling to about 50℃, immediately tempering; For optimum toughness, fractional quenching or high pressure gas cooling should be performed.
·
4) Tempering: ASP23 high speed steel shall be tempered three times at 560℃. After each tempering, it must be cooled for at least 1 hour. After tempering, the residual Austenite volume will be less than 1%.
·
5) Cryogenic treatment: If the most stable size is needed, cryogenic treatment is required. Cool immediately after quenching to about 80℃, keep for 1-3 hours, and then temper. The hardness can be increased by 1 degree. If the mold shape is complex, do not take cryotreatment, which may cause rupture.
